Providing enough space in the shadow of the A13 for several routes it is currently served by just one, the EL2 from Ilford. Situated in the middle of a bleak industrial landscape where most workers drive to work I wonder if there ever will be any other routes? Behind the bus stand a pair of water tanks at the Ford plant - once a truly major employer manufacturing cars here. Now there is only a small diesel engine manufacturing plant and a stamping plant. Cars are imported from European factories instead and shipped to other parts of the country by rail.
