Powmillon Burn in Strathaven

The substantial waters of the Powmillon Burn cascade over a small weir in the centre of the town of Strathaven. The burn empties into the Avon Water a mile or so east of the town (at NS71674427- see Image]) The bridge seen ahead is the footbridge seen in Image] The pub on the right hand side of this image with a black fascia is The Star Inn.
