View eastward, towards Wells-next-the Sea: ex-GER Heacham - Wells branch. The line and station were closed 2/6/52, but Heacham - Burnham Market remained for freight until 28/12/64, with Burnham Market - Wells having been abandoned after the great floods of 31/1/53. The substantial goods shed here has lasted into 1991.
