Here, towards the eastern edge of both Tameside and Greater Manchester, the suburban village of Mottram in Longdendale seamlessly blends in to the more urban estate of Hattersley. This image shows John Kennedy Road (left) and Hyde Way (right) from Hyde Road, a point roughly midway between the two areas.
