View southward, towards Wymondham, also County School, Swaffham and Wells-next-the-Sea: ex-GER lines from (Norwich) - Wymondham - Dereham - King's Lynn/Wells-next-the-Sea. The station closed to passengers with the service from Wymondham 6/10/69, services to Wells having ceased 5/10/64 and King's Lynn 9/9/68. Goods/coal traffic was handled at Dereham until 12/9/84 and complete closure came in 6/89. The station and the line from Wymondham have been gradually restored by a succession of Preservation bodies, Dereham station being reopened 26/7/97.
