NHS Borders offices in Waverley Road, Melrose. This building, erected in 1878, was originally the Congregational Church until its closure in 1930. Since then it has been a cinema, an antiques business, a coal merchant's and Scottish Water offices before NHS Borders moved into the revamped building in 2006. Departments include Health Promotion, Nursing Services, Clinical Services and Information. A single storey building to the rear houses a Learning Disability Team in partnership with Scottish Borders Council Social Work Services.
