This sarcophagus is one of the memorials that is specifically mentioned in the cemetery's listing text (see the end-note for a link). The inscription has partly flaked off: "To the memory of James Masterton, who died at Liverpool 22 September [... in the ... year of his age,] and of his sister Margaret, wife of Alexander Breingan, died 5th November 1885".
