The monument is set beside the north-eastern boundary wall. In the inscription, the most familiar name is that of "Andrew Bonar Law, born 16th September 1858, died 30th October 1923, sometime Prime Minister of Great Britain. His ashes lie in Westminster Abbey". Andrew Bonar Law was Prime Minister during parts of 1922 and 1923; his tenure was cut short by illness. He was a relative of the Kidston family (see the left panel of the monument).
