An interesting view across the River Weaver to Frodsham (not visible) and Helsby Hill (463 ft.) towering over Helsby, further to the east being Delamere Forest. The viaduct of the ex-London & North Western Railway Frodsham - Runcorn line over the Weaver is clearly seen to the right of the chimney. Today, the view would be dominated by the viaduct of the M56 striding across this side of the railway.
