The Backpackers Hostel is at 9A Hythe Bridge Street. Next door is SoJo, a Chinese restaurant where the Szechuan, Shanghainese and Cantonese varieties of cuisine are available. There is also a Mongolian grill. This is not authentic Mongolian cuisine but the method by which medieval Mongolians cooked their slivers of raw meat on the steel blades of their swords over fire. In SoJo the blades are replaced by a steel griddle. Diners choose their meat, flavourings and vegetables from the refrigerated display for the chef to cook in their presence.
