A large Banks's (now Marston's) road house facing all the modern problems of underpriced supermarket ales - and that's the breweries' faults for letting their beers out at such a low price. (A pint of Banks's is about £2.60 in pubs; I can get 500ml bottles of it usually for 99p or £1 locally, and even £1.25 (81p for cans) from little off licences within a few hundred yards of this pub. The difference is too great. And then there's the problem of snow at the end of March!! (End of moan).
