This is the famous Trout Inn, a popular watering hole next to the River Thames on the northern outskirts of Oxford, and featured in episodes of Morse. Tempting though it was to stop, whilst walking Shakespeare's Way, we had a little way to go to reach Oxford and rain was threatening.
