One of those huge Victorian piles which seem to go on forever with interminable service buildings. It is the work of David Brandon, 1869-72, ragstone and Bath stone dressings in a neo-Jacobean style. Grade II listed. I'm fairly sure the house is now flats. What was once the second under scullery maid's quarters has no doubt made a very nice home. The date of the photo is uncertain.
