This is an early 19th C inn with English Heritage Building ID: 311070. It has Grade II listing and a ghost story. Apparently, on dark nights, a coach and four gallop frantically towards the pub, as if fleeing from something in nearby Upavon. They never complete their journey.... Perhaps they've got a white van in their rear-view mirror!
