Much Hadham Hall, Much Hadham

A most distinguished early Georgian house, all very neatly disposed, with red brick and stone dressings and a central Venetian window. Built 1726-29 for the Reverend William Stanley, possibly to the designs of John James. Grade I listed. Visible in front is part of the fine wrought-iron overthrow. Grade II listed. The date of the photo is uncertain.
