SECR no. 263 (SR class H) runs round its train ready for the 10:30 departure. The lines beyond converge onto the ten arch Imberhorne Viaduct. Ground frame 'B' controls the running round layout at this end of the station. The line on the right forms an end-on junction with Network Rail, and enables through running. Frame 'A' on the far right works the connection to Network Rail.
