Museum of Cannock Chase

Situated in the former corn store at the Valley Pit the museum tells the story of the Cannock Chase and South Staffordshire coalfields. The last pit closed at Walsall Wood in 1968. The winding wheel was recovered from Lea Hall Colliery in Rugeley.
