Another view of Image This straight-on shot is actually a wide angle stitch due to the very narrow street that this old hall is hidden away on. The blue plaque tells how the original shire hall was a court, police station and corn exchange. Presumably the functions changed a little when the new facade was added bearing the words "Town Hall", nearly a hundred years later. See Image
