The 100-metre contour goes through here, about 1500 metres (on the map) from the River Teign. There is talk locally of Moor View Drive being extended up the hill to meet the Exeter Road, thus providing a parallel direct route down into the town. An alternative would be the rebuilding of the delightful Shepherds' Lane as a two-way road.
