By Joseph Parkinson, 1815-24, for James Scott, but refaced and remodelled from c1850, and enlarged by George Devey in the 1870s, including the left-hand turret. Grade I listed. To the left are the early C19th stables with a very extravagant tower. Grade II listed. The extensive park has been landscaped several times, lastly by William Gilpin, c1818. The date of the photo is uncertain.
