The OS map records the site as 'Bellmount'. The prosperity of Terrington was built in the 1920s on flower and bulb cultivation. Nowadays most of the nurseries take twice-weekly deliveries of plants and flowers from Holland, but Bellmont remains the largest and oldest of the local nurseries.
