Opened as "Partick" in 1882 on the North British Railway's lines from Glasgow to Dalmuir, this station was renamed Partick Hill in 1953. It closed in 1979 when the current Partick station was opened, which was better sited for interchange with the Glasgow Underground. View north west from the present station - see Image
