Opened in 1979 by British Rail on its line from Glasgow to Dalmuir, this replaced Partick Hill station just 150 metres behind the camera position (see Image). The new station site was chosen as it offered closer interchange with buses and the Glasgow subway. View south east towards Glasgow.
