A large lofty brick H-plan house, dated 1719. Much emphasis on the central bay, all of whose windows are connected. In fact this was an older house remodelled for Samuel Tufnell, an M.P. and City businessman. Grade I listed. The date of the photo is uncertain. The cow looked to be more a fan of Victorian, or perhaps even Moodernism.
