On the corner of Downs Road (to the left). Hoarding has been erected round the building, the ground floor doors and windows have been boarded over as refurbishment of the building is taking place. Planning permission has been approved, with conditions, by Folkestone and Hythe District Council under application numbers Y13/0088/SH for a "display of five external signs to front and side elevations, one externally illuminated freestanding post sign in front forecourt with internally illuminated box signs attached to post, six non-illuminated entrance, amenity board and directional signs to building and two non-illuminated freestanding post mounted signs" and Y13/0116/SH for the "erection of single storey extension to rear (west elevation) and northern side elevation including new kitchen with ventilation system and toilets, following demolition of existing kitchen area, formation of new car park to northern side, refurbishment of garden area to west to incorporate paving, landscaping, play equipment and decked area, installation of new external fire escape staircase to replace existing, provision of smoking area and other external alterations".
