Small side street running between Lewes Road and Image The section of road in the foreground was once part of Park Crescent Place whilst the narrower section in the distance was originally part of gardens attached to the Park Crescent estate which included a menagerie, a maze and other attractions. This area was eventually developed in the 1880s. The houses in the distance are located on Round Hill.
