East Pyl Brook in Morden Park

Morden Park was the original 18th century park of a Georgian mansion, Morden Park House, which was built in 1770 for John Ewart, a distiller and merchant of London. This view near the bottom of the park looks downstream along the East Pyl Brook. The East Pyl Brook rises near Rosehill and flows across the southern part of Morden Park before joining the West Pyl Brook near Morden Cemetery. This in turn flows into the Beverley Brook opposite Beverley Park in New Malden.
