Waterfowl on Dukes Pond, Rising Sun Country Park

Rising Sun Country Park is a 160 hectare green oasis within North Tyneside. Dukes Pond is a man made lake created as a retention pond for overspill drain water from the housing estates at Holystone. From the top - two Canada Geese, a young Tufted Duck, a male Tufted Duck, female and male Mallards.
