View eastward from next to Castle Eden Inn, towards West Hartlepool: ex-NE Ferryhill (also Sunderland via Wellfield) - West Hartlepool line. The station has been very nicely converted to a private house since it was closed on 9/6/52 (to passengers, 1/6/64 to goods).
