A view of the top floor of the flour mill. Converted to roller mill in 1902. Like the excellent example at Rowlsey the workings are never as simple as a typical corn mill with stones. There is a factory style mass of elevators, sieves and grading machines. 2nd floor: grain hoppers and sack hoist flaps, with 6 elevators and pulleys. A number of specialised machines also survive on this floor all associated with the roller mill cycle, namely 2 centrifugal dressers and various scalpers and sifters.
