A house of c1800 by James Wyatt whose exterior now owes much to Walter Tapper's remodelling of 1908-09. However, it is a "facelift" rather than reconstructive surgery. Grade II* listed. Formerly the seat of the Rolles, it has been a college of agriculture for some years.
