On the centre of the parade of shops is a date stone reading TERMINUS J.H.S.R. 1923 MARKET The Terminus would have been for the original Sheffield Tram system ... interestingly the modern Sheffield Supertram passes this way every few minutes, hence the overhead wires. Whilst I have driven past the shops on numerous occasions, it was as a passenger on the tram that I first spotted the sign. See also ... Image Image Image
