The canal widens to a wide basin north of the aqueduct. There is a boatyard here and a good winding (boat turning) facility. Good visitor moorings are on the left; long-term moorings on the right. Ahead is Bridge No 53, which is an accommodation bridge serving Lucy's Farm.
