Viewed from the public footpath to the south-west, Dinmore Manor and chapel are situated high up in a wooded valley. Dinmore was a preceptory of the Knights of St John of Jerusalem and founded in 1189 though little remains. Pevsner writes that the manor is a mixture of styles and periods.
