A byway leaves the main lane at Hatches Croft opposite Hatches Farm and continues as a very muddy track until it reaches the Image Here a bridleway continues to the northwest toward Greencroft Wood while a footpath strikes off to the northeast heading for Jockey End and Ballingdon Bottom. The signpost shown in this photo marks the parting of the ways.
