Taken in September 1970, this photo shows Blackpool 611, a 1935 English Electric 48-seater railcar in Rossall Road (A587) on a tour of the tramway system. The advertisement "Bale's the Drapers" on the side of the shop on the left of the photo is now "Dukes Pizza". The tower of St Andrew's Parish Church can just be seen behind the tramcar.
