Viewed from the corner of Rowan Way during a weeklong cold spell in January 2013. Alder Grove is a cul-de-sac, so its road surface has not been cleared of snow and ice by the council, whereas the roadway on Rowan Way, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3356450 on a bus route, has been cleared.
