This old pub has been closed for several years. It was for sale for £50,000 but described as having been vandalised. Now it seems to have been stripped of its roof and plastered with posters. Whether it did sell is unknown but it seems highly unlikely that it will ever re-open as a pub. Compare with the October 2010 photograph by Gordon Griffiths:- Image To the right of the pub is the S.T.D. Carpet Superstore. Image
