Several paths intersect here. The "Top Path", leading to the "Top Car Park", is visible on the right. The path ahead crosses the route of the former Great Central Railway (Marylebone to Manchester via Nottingham, Newstead and Sheffield), whereas the path behind the photographer descends towards "Lower Path" and to a small lake in the valley called Victoria Lake.
