When I drove past on 15 February 2013, the building had security fencing along its frontage, so it now appears in its finished state. Planning permission was granted by Dover District Council under application number DOV/09/00462 for the "erection of an 80-bed care home (C2) with associated parking and garden amenity space, regrading of land levels, formation of new vehicle access and erection of boundary treatment (existing warehouse building to be demolished). Land adjoining Buckland House, Crabble Hill, Dover". However, I have been informed by a resident of Conqueror House that the building is a mixture of affordable and social housing.
