The building dates from around the 17th century and has been the village store and Post Office since the 19th. Not sure when the tea room was added but they are popular along with the small menagerie of animals that can be found in the gardens. The tea rooms are currently being refurbished under new ownership and are due to reopen on 9th March 2013.
