An early-Georgian brick house given an early-C19th refacing. It has an Ionic porch, pilaster strips setting apart the outer bays and a balustraded parapet. Grade II listed. It was built for James Chase, the local M.P., but at the time of the photo was in business use. The date of the photo is uncertain.
