The deck of this farming access bridge is in a state of disrepair and there is a no access warning sign on the bridge. Advance work is underway on the Borders Railway project to reinstate 30 miles of line between Edinburgh and Tweedbank near Galashiels with 7 new train stations. The main construction of the line is expected to start in the spring and early summer of 2013 with a projected completion date of summer 2015.
