This is the view across the car park to the short west side view of Lidl's large Recycling and Distribution Centre near Runcorn in Cheshire. I was there to check on the quality of their category 3 animal by-product waste recycling system. One system recycles bread and bakery waste into animal feeding. Another system recycles store waste for use as a feedstock for an anaerobic digester. The warehouse is around 10 years old but looks as good as new and is very well lit by natural light.
