Part of a mural, on the western side, under the Tate’s Avenue bridge http://www.geograph.org.uk/snippet/2337. The artist was David McClelland who describes it thus: “Rather than focus on celebrities that may have lived in the area I decided to focus on the one thing that makes a community – the people. I decided that each mural should incorporate stories and characters from the Tate’s Avenue area, with the intention of revealing the history of the area from the community’s perspective”. This one features a clergyman and a grocer’s delivery van. Image shows the mural on the eastern side.
