The 17.5 hectares Spennells Valley Nature Reserve is a fragmented site, being located along the banks of the Hoo Brook and its tributaries, with parts interspersed between the local housing estate. This section is on the opposite side of Heronswood Road to the car park. This is the entrance from Heronswood Road and the hard surfaced footpath is particularly welcome at this time of year. Image
