Amelia Paton Hill's sculpture of Robert Burns in Dumfries, where the poet lived from 1791 until his death in 1796, was unveiled in the square outside Greyfriars Church in 1882. Burns is sitting on a tree-stump with his dog, Luath, at his feet.
