The eastern end/wing of the very grand Apley Hall. It dates from the early 19th century (1812) and is built of Grinshill sandstone, and incorporates an earlier Georgian house into its fabric. The whole was Grade II* listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101294171-apley-park-secondary-modern-school-stockton#.XUBKMuhKhPY and https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1294171 in 1951, at which time it was operating as a school.
