Tony's Butchers shop on the corner of Kendrick Street and Threadneedle Street shows the name Blinkhorns, a much earlier occupier of the premises. When carrying out repairs here, butcher Tony Spencer uncovered the old signs, which were for a haberdashery dating from c1925.
