Castrol Works, Stanlow - pump room

The Castrol works was used for blending lubricating oils and closed in 2010. The pumps in this room were scrapped in late 2012 as far as I know. In 1983 there were 14 horizontal duplex non-rotative steam pumps by Tangyes Ltd, Cornwall Works, Birmingham. By 2012 there were 13 for disposal and as far as I know none were saved. Duties included pumping from a berth on the Manchester Ship Canal.
